House on Park Street
An earlier work that led to current landscape work, from 1985-88, on Fabriano paper 20 x 26 inches. Remembering the little house on Park Street. This little street of the very edge of town was such a shelter in the storm. Wonderful old Christine Potapoff lived next door. She would give me tea and cookies. She made colourful spiral decorations from old cigarette packages she'd patiently collect. She hung them on almost every wall of her little house. There were still milkmen in those days, who'd stop at your house......I remember buying Beep, a wonderful orange drink.
