Made in 2000. I was a mid career art teacher at that point. Sometimes the days were very long and tiring. At the start (1990) we also taught on Saturdays and sometimes night duty would end at 11:00 pm. But there were some breaks during the day and I made a point of making art to keep myself sane. This piece was made at the end of a teaching day, just before going home. I like the cocky eye and the long, hanging arm. On ¾ inch pine board, in 2 sections, laminated to ¼ inch thin plywood panel. 27 x 9.25 inches, signed front and back lightly in pencil. I would prefer that this piece be hung as is, without a frame.
